It had a fully equipped private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries. And guess what? There was even a balcony where I could relax and enjoy the view. The seating area was so cozy and the tile/marble floor added a touch of luxury. I felt like I was in paradise!
The only thing I didn't love about the room was the tile/marble floor. It looked beautiful, but it was a bit slippery.

The apartment had great location and staff. The staff was so affable. Location was fantastic and convenient, not too far from Cp Lounge. I loved that bus station was within 600 feet of the property...
Didn't find privacy.

I absolutely loved the cozy and inviting decor of Maple House. The hotel had a charming and homely atmosphere, with beautiful Balinese touches throughout. As a senior woman, I found the general areas of the hotel to be easily accessible, with wide corridors and well-placed handrails. It made me feel safe and comfortable during my stay.
I would have appreciated a few more amenities specifically tailored for senior guests. Maybe some grab bars in the bathrooms or a dedicated staff member to assist with any special needs.

Stayed at a place with free WiFi, A/C, pool, and a garden. I even got my own terrace! Had a halal breakfast and found free parking nearby.
Oh, and how could I forget the thrill of staying at a place with WiFi that doesn't work! Such a delight!

Loved staying at Maple House! Originally booked a nearby hostel but had to switch due to availability. Wish we had stayed at Maple House the whole time - it's better, cheaper, and the rooms are spacious. The peaceful pool was a perfect place to unwind. The staff was lovely and the location was great, with shops and restaurants nearby. Saw cute geckos and frogs from our room on the end. Definitely would stay here again!
Highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel's general areas were beautifully adorned with traditional Balinese artwork and lush greenery, creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere. As a senior woman, I found the hotel to be very accessible, with well-maintained pathways and ramps that made it easy for me to navigate around the property.
I would have appreciated a more attentive staff, especially considering that many of the guests were older individuals. It would have been nice if the children working there were more proactive in offering assistance and anticipating the needs of the senior guests.

Pros of staying at this amazing place: The location is absolutely mind-blowing! Waking up surrounded by picturesque rice fields was like a dream come true. The room with its abundance of windows and balcony on the second floor was just perfect. And let's not forget about the pool, it was super nice. Plus, being within walking distance to the buzzing Main Street, yet only hearing jungle sounds, was jaw-dropping. Oh, and did I mention it's conveniently close to YogaBarn? The staff was incredibly sweet and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The value for money at Maple House was great - spacious rooms, a lovely pool area, and daily room service. The location was perfect, tucked away from the main street but still close to shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly and accommodating.
The only thing that could have made the morning meal better was a bit more variety.

The room at Maple House was fantastic! The private bathroom was fully equipped with a shower and free toiletries, making it super convenient for me as someone with disabilities. The double room had a balcony and a seating area, which added a cozy touch to the overall experience. The tile/marble floor gave the room a stylish vibe, and some units even had an additional seating area.
I personally didn't enjoy the tile/marble floor in the double room. Others might like it, but I found it a bit too cold for my liking.

During my Christmas stay, I really enjoyed the personalized and fresh breakfast served on my porch. The location was great, tucked away in a quiet lane off the main road. I loved the fact that there was a massage place at the entrance and plenty of shops and restaurants within a short walking distance. Additionally, the hotel had a relaxing infinity pool with a beautiful view of the surrounding area.
There were a couple of drawbacks. the mattress was quite hard, but I eventually got used to it.

Convenient location near Yoga Barn and restaurants, with a 5-minute walk to a supermarket. Tasty and healthy breakfast. Nice pool to relax in. Felt safe as a solo female traveler. Friendly staff.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
